One-day 'Introduction' and 'Advanced' Sustainability Reporting Workshop

Paia Consulting offers 'Introductory' and 'Advanced' sustainability reporting workshops. They are aimed at meeting the needs of all types of organisations and their varied reporting requirements, whether the reporting journey has just begun, or an established report is already in place and requires further development to ensure compliance with international best practice expectations.  With a good mix of theory and practical exercises, the workshops are available as public courses in conjunction our training partners, and can also be delivered in-house for boards, managers and reporting teams.

Paia also provides a range of bespoke training courses that can be delivered to meet the exact needs of your organisation. These include, Introduction to Sustainability, Materiality and KPI workshops, specific Global Reporting Initiative programmes, implementing and understanding ISO14000 and ISO26000 and other international standards, stakeholder engagement or report development consultations.

The 'Introduction to Sustainability Reporting Workshop' offers participants a clear understanding of how to start the reporting process and looks at why so many organisations are voluntarily producing reports. Issues discussed during the interactive sessions include drivers for reporting, transparency and accountability in a sustainability context, identifying key performance indicators on which to report and an introduction to the Global Reporting Initiative G3 guidelines.  It is the perfect introduction for those who have an interest in sustainability reporting or have been tasked with producing a first time report for their organisation. By the end of the workshop, the aim is for participants to be able to start the reporting process within their own organisations and have a clear understanding of how to approach reporting and the relevant guidelines to follow.

The ‘Advanced Sustainability Reporting Workshop’ is for organisations who are already reporting, but wish to improve upon their reporting processes and assess the implications of the latest developments in reporting, such as materiality and KPI prioritisation. Issues discussed include key stakeholder identification, mapping and engagement, emerging best practice in sustainability reporting, bridging the gap between credible CSR and engaging public relations, using GRI as a framework and not a straight jacket, best practice from alternative guidelines for CSR management (eg ISO 26000, IFAC Sustainability Framework, Carbon Disclosure Project, etc), assessing materiality and verification and assurance and why some institutional investors are requesting sustainability disclosures before making investments decisions.

Since 2002 PAIA has been a training provider for CSR/Sustainability Reporting workshops on behalf of ACCA, the Singapore Environment Institute and Singapore Compact.
