Many of the drivers for sustainability reporting in SE Asia are coming from investors. International investors are increasingly looking at the Environmental and Social, Governance performance (ESG) of companies before making investment decisions – recognising the potential risks that sustainability issues can pose such as environmental non-compliance or accidents, Health and Safety lapses or poor performance in people development.
