PAIA addresses many angles of CSR, helping companies move towards being more corporately responsible, working with them to understand what CSR means to the individual organisation and helping to engage stakeholders and publicly report on CSR performance.
We attempt to put the same principles into practice within our own organisation and adhere to be socially and environmentally responsible through the work that we undertake and the way in which we operate our business.
In 2009 Paia became a limited company registered in Singapore. Although we started off a small organisation, we are already in the process of putting systems in place to ensure that we meet the highest standards of governance and in the future will report on our environmental and social performance as part of our overall reporting systems and processes.
Paia is a member of the Singapore Compact for CSR and abides to the principles of the United Nations Global Compact. We are in the process of becoming an organisational stakeholder for the Global Reporting Initiative and actively participate in roundtables, conferences and seminars to promote sustainability in Asia.
